The Legacy Program: Journey is the cultural exchange part of the LP which allows students and the teaching artists who facilitate the Residency to travel to Africa for a cultural exchange with youth and professional artists on the African continent. 



     Currently, the Legacy Program has tested the ancestry of 92 students, staff, artists, board members, volunteers and community members thus re-connecting 92 families to the specificity of their African ancestry!

     The first CP Journey is expected to launch in the summer of 2017.  The first country to be visited will be Cameroon.  We expect to travel to the continent of Africa visiting the countries of our participant's ancestry every other year.
